Ask Dr. Barbaro what cosmetic procedure is best for you.
We also offer a more economical, but still effective take home whitening system. Please remember that all teeth whiten differently and the amount of whitening may vary based on natural tooth stain, habits, age, etc.
When a considerable amount of tooth structure is decayed, lost, or fractured, a crown is usually the restoration of choice for optimal function, strength, longevity, and esthetics. The natural tooth is reshaped and all the decay is removed. An impression is then sent to the dental lab where a beautiful, long-lasting crown is fabricated and it is then placed on the affected tooth. Crowns have been around for a long time and are STILL an excellent option for restoring badly broken-down teeth. Contact us to learn more about our Gambrills Same Day Crowns option.
Sometimes, implants are not indicated to replace missing or lost teeth and a bridge is made connecting an artificial tooth to the adjacent teeth which are present. The bridge is cemented in your mouth for a long time. This procedure usually takes three visits. Please ask Dr. Barbaro if you are a candidate for a bridge to replace a missing tooth (teeth).
Implants have become the standard for the replacement of lost or missing teeth. Dr. Barbaro places a titanium tooth root form in an area where the tooth (teeth) is missing. After a period of about 4 months, impressions are made and a beautiful, functional, strong, long-lasting tooth is fabricated to blend with your natural teeth. Provisionals can be made to temporarily replace the lost or missing tooth so that you don’t have to go around publicly with any unattractive gaps in your smile. The titanium is very biologically compatible with the body, as it is used extensively in knee and hip replacements and has been proven to last a long time. It does not corrode, deteriorate, or decay. Ask Dr. Barbaro if Gambrills implants are the optimal choice for your needs.
Gambrills Root Canal
A Gambrills root canal is the service completed to repair an infected or badly decayed tooth. The dental professional would remove the damaged area of the tooth (the pulp), cleaning and disinfecting it and then filling and sealing it. If you've been told you need a root canal and want to discuss Gambrills root canal cost, we will be happy to answer any questions.
A porcelain veneer is a thin, custom made covering that conceals the front and side surfaces of your tooth. Veneers can enhance teeth that are severely discolored, damaged, misaligned, or poorly shaped. A major benefit of veneers is tooth conservation: little enamel is removed in the preparation for your new veneer. The choice to do veneers is the most esthetic and durable of cosmetic options and can be accomplished in one or two visits to the office.
This is the most widely used tooth repair material today. It is a tooth-colored resin which bonds to enamel to restore chipped, broken, or decayed teeth. Although it is an excellent restorative material, it only has a duration of about 3-5 years. Dr. Barbaro will advise you if bonding is the material of choice for you.
Tooth Whitening (Bleaching)
We offer professional laser whitening in office. The procedure is safe and takes a little over an hour. For your pleasure, you can select a video from our extensive library to view (with stereo headphones) while whitening.
We also offer Crofton dentures which are simply an replacement for one to all of the teeth of either or both jaws. Contact us to discuss your options.
